Directs a 600 soldier Infantry battalion on daily funeral operations in Arlington National Cemetery and the National Capital Region that includes two highly specialized platoons: the Presidential Salute Battery, which controls the sole remaining battery of M5 salute howitzers in the Army, and the U.S. Army Caisson Platoon, which maintains the largest herd of Military Working Horses with the Department of Defense.
