Responsible for Indian Guide/Princess/Trailblazers programs, Sports and Informal Education classes. Budget planning and responsibilities for these programs are $175,000. Indian Guide/Princess/Trailblazers responsibilities includes 350+ pairs. Volunteers for this program were 7 Nation Officers and 45-50 chiefs. The Indian program had monthly meetings for chiefs and officers that are liasioned by the program director. Sports responsibilities included supervision of organization and promotion of all youth and adult sport programs. Other specific duties included monitoring the scheduling of all officials for youth and adult events, ensuring the preparation of gym/athletic fields for appropriate sport in a manner that promotes the YMCA in a positive manner, communicating with the program coordinators and coaches/volunteers the proper information for a smooth, error free system, maintaining of all sports equipment to ensure safety for program participants, conducting coaches/officials training’s, parent clinics and coaches/parent meetings in all sport programs, and supervision and approval of recruitment of all contract officials and sport monitors. Sports budget responsibilities also included monitoring and maintaining of an annual $225,000 budget. Responsibilities for these programs also include, but are not limited to, planning events, ordering of equipment, payroll, enforcing YMCA policies and procedures and marketing.
