I have been with the Division for over 23 years. During my time with the Henrico Police Division I have served in Patrol, Community Policing, SWAT and Internal Affairs.My training experience as a DCJS General Instructor includes the following: Developed lesson plans for chemical munitions, less-lethal, and Flash Sound Diversionary Device courses. Division's Lead Active Shooter Instructor.I have taught courses in the basic police academy and in-service on the topics of patrol tactics, active shooter, community policing, policy updates, TASER and chemical munitions. Presented programs to community groups and businesses on civilian active shooter response, gang awareness, crime prevention, employee response to robberies and burglaries, identity theft, senior and child safety. Lead instructor for the Division’s 24th Senior Citizens Academy. Provided interviews with local media on gun and holiday safety. Interviewed by HCTV for public educational videos on tool-shed break-ins and active shooter incidents.
