While I am responsible for the leadership and management necessary for directing all of the administrative functions of Ascend, I focus on the overall member experience as it relates to our members' journey throughout the Credit Union. Included in my responsibilities are planning, directing, and leading Branch Operations, a full-service Contact Center, a centralized Teller Center, Records Management, Member Experience and Satisfaction Management, Business Process Architecture, and Facilities, and Purchasing and Supply Management. Other duties include budgeting, planning, and directing the development and offering of competitive products to members; ensuring positive member experiences leading to member satisfaction as measured by Net Promoter Scores, all while fostering and supporting a sales and service culture. To accomplish all of this, I oversee and support a terrific team!

I was responsible for the leadership and management necessary for the identification, assessment, mitigation/control evaluation, and monitoring/reporting of Ascend’s portfolio of risk. I developed, and continually improved, our Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks, and to assist the Senior Executive Team in managing these risks in accordance with our enterprise risk management framework and architecture. I worked to ensure the organization's risk management policies and strategies were in compliance with applicable regulations and the strategic imperatives of the organization. I chaired the credit union’s Risk Management Committee and provided key inputs into other committees (Asset Liability Committee, Compliance Committee, etc.) which oversee risk management processes and ensured alignment with organizational objectives and the Board’s risk appetite. I also led the Asset Liability Management, Vendor Management, Business Continuity Planning, and Product Profitability Analysis activities for Ascend.

As Ascend's Senior Financial Analyst my responsibilities included monthly and quarterly financial performance reporting. This included sales tracking for loans and other products, Asset/Liability Management analysis and reporting, budgeting and budget variance reporting. Also, I was responsible for assisting the Marketing Department with data mining, market research, and promotional targeting and tracking. Finally, I also conducted extensive Return on Investment analysis, and other ad hoc analysis as requested by members of the Senior Executive Team.

In my role as Marketing Research Analyst my responsibilities included maintaining a Marketing Consumer Information File (MCIF) database, targeting and selecting recipients for promotional outreach, analyzing response rates, return on investment (ROI), and household product penetration and profitability. I also maintained the credit union's public website during this interval as well. This included compliance reviews, updating messaging, and email and banner ad campaigns which worked in tandem with the promotional direct mail campaigns.
