I am a scientist focusing on Aldevron's Nanoplasmid™ platform. My primary functions were to design and perform cloning of client constructs into the Nanoplasmid™ backbone and conduct R&D experiments to improve large-scale production of Nanoplasmid™ constructs and to improve their function in cell and gene therapy applications.

As a postdoc in the lab of Dr. Randy Stockbridge, I am studying the molecular mechanisms and physiological impacts of bacterial ion homeostasis. Using biophysical, structural, and bioinformatic analyses, we aim to elucidate how proteins in bacteria are able to sense changes in ion concentration and/or membrane potential to regulate ion-specific gene.

In Dr. Brian Baker's lab, I investigated the structural and physical features underlying recognition of antigens by T cells, especially antigens specifically presented by cancer cells. In understanding the mechanisms that promote cancer antigen immunogenicity, we can improve existing predictive models to target these cancer-specific antigens for therapy. I.
