Business Services Unit Manager oversees business analysis, software testing, and project coordination for the Montana Department of Revenue’s enterprise projects. Responsibilities include translating stakeholder needs into functional requirements, ensuring software quality, creating and managing project plans, and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsible for designing, planning and executing the US Marine Forces engagement plan with Mexico, Canada and The Bahamas through engagement & the development and management of multi-million dollar equipment, infrastructure and training programs.Project Design: Integrated strategic guidance from the National Security Strategy, Department of Defense and the Department of State to identify achievable goals for engagement with partner nations. This process requires a deep understanding of both the US and partner nation military capabilities in order to effectively find areas of mutual interests and improvement. Negotiated a shared vision of future development and authored a plan to achieve the end state. Project Management: Managed engagement plans between senior US and partner nation officials to accomplish strategic goals. Specifically, supervised the accomplishment of process milestones with an array of US and partner nation governmental agencies. Prepared senior leaders for productive international engagements to accomplish strategically important agreements in support of national interests.

Served as an advisor to the Commandant General of United Kingdom Royal Marines (UKRM) and staff member to concept development team. The concept team was responsible for organizational transformation of the UK Royal Marines including the purpose and employment of the organization within the UK strategic approach to military operations.Threat Research: Participated in several detailed reviews of strategic threats to the UK national interests to understand likely and worst case predicted scenarios for potential UK military employment. This research activity provided an understanding of what capabilities within the UK Royal Marines were of the most value to the UK government. Force Design: Senior staff member and advisor as part of the team responsible for designing a future UK Royal Marine Force. The design process addressed the traditional models for organizing, training and equipping a 6,000+ force to meet new desired ends. Senior Executive Advisor: Provided expert advice on UK Royal Marine and US Marine relationships to Senior UK Defense officials. Planned, managed, and hosted several international forums to discuss mutual security interests and emerging military concepts within NATO and European amphibious forces.

Led a team responsible for the planning and safe execution of the US Marine Corps largest live-fire combined arms exercise – The Integrated Training Exercise (ITX). Responsible for the design and execution of the exercise, safety procedures and program of instruction. ITX provides the venue to train the technical aspects of tactical integration associated with conducting Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) operations against a near-peer threat in both desert and urban terrain.Board Chair: Created and chaired the command’s Training and Development Working Group, which managed the certification of all the organizations live-fire controllers in order to ensure the delivery of the highest level of instruction and professionalism. Senior Instructor: Led a team that trained approximately 40,000 Marines in combined arms and maneuver thorough classroom instruction and live-fire practical application including the integration of direct fire small arms, medium and heavy weapons, main battle tanks, rockets, mortars, artillery, rotary and fixed-wing aviation.
