The Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme helps support young athletes from a diverse range of backgrounds with providing the necessary infrastructure and skills for all aspiring athletes to achieve a better work-life balance in education, whilst empowering their growth towards sporting excellence. This is achieved via 5 main pillars of service: Strength & Conditioning, Physiotherapy, Lifestyle Support, Nutrition & Sport Psychology. Over the years through forging strong insightful relationships, I have found the support from TASS to be instrumental in shaping my perspective towards my sport of Boccia and dealing with the pressures, responsibilities and professionalism that come with representing my country at the very top of England's National Pathway with Boccia England. I am very fortunate proud to have medalled at several international events, to which without the incredible support of TASS would not have been made possible. As I set my sights forward, raising new goals for myself, I look forward to consolidating on the strong tournament performances & progress made that TASS has afforded me in becoming an aspiring Paralympian in the near future.

The True Athlete Project is a personalised 1:1 international sports mentoring programme that empowers the growing athletes of tomorrow find perspective on their holistic impact on sport and how unlock their full potential, through a range of techniques designed to elevate their sense of self-mastery, deriving from a rich variety of mindfulness-based practices and principles of Stoic philosophy to expand an athletes awareness and attentiveness to how they may improve and optimise their habits to better themselves in sports performance and in life in general, embracing a holistic value to the transformative power of sport. -- This experience has really helped me develop a greater appreciation of stresses and the value of being patient in a fast-flowing media-fuelled society. It has also assisted me with improving my communication & negotiating when empathising with someone in need, being really attentive to the value of human thought which has enabled me to become more eloquent in conversation. In this way, developing a bond and helping someone in need has really benefitted my own sense of personal development.

Building bridges between the crossroads as part of Bidwells' trusted and reputable Marketing Team, helping to re-energise the attractiveness of the company website. Generating fresh new content for their website migration & re-design which aligns with their modern shift in vision post Nexus Project, championing Collaboration, Innovation & Sustainability.Having received great exposure to the wonders and boundless utility of AI Learning when creating editorial content, I have really begun to appreciate the vast scope and benefits of where it can be intergrated within business for positive effective outcomes that accelerate productivity. Whilst my time was short in familiarising myself with this new phenom, it definitely has had a noticeable impact on my own working practices, brandishing a new level of confidence.Significantly what also contributed to this new sense of confidence was my active engagement and ability to suggest ideas and ask questions in board meetings with senior partners with regards to both content writing & web formatting. I also had the great privilege of organising and conducting a series of interviews with various staff members to understand the culture & identity behind each individual, formulating a map of how their contribution to the business feeds into the whole.

One of the first advocates to hold this position, seeking to raise the profile of the Paralympic sport of Boccia, (similar to lawn bowls), within Loughborough University, kickstarting their Para-sport Initiative & strengthening Loughborough’s acclaimed sporting reputation. Roles included: Producing marketing & advertising materials for events; planning and coordinating Boccia activities for Loughborough dignitaries, local residents & fellow students; engage in radio interviews pitching Boccia to the general public; manage & attend regular meetings.

Founding member of the Athletic Union’s Wheelchair Basketball Club, actively engaged in the club’s start-up, writing legal documents & main articles for the club’s website. Heavily influenced ‘the Club’s Vision’ with a strong emphasis on the image of inclusivity and advancing the culture of learning through sport. Collaborated effectively when producing the club’s dynamic membership program which robustly tested my ability to think laterally & meet deadlines. Roles included: Promoting a safe & positive social environment for Loughborough Wheelchair Basketball to thrive; proficient communication and reflective thinking to promote & ensure smooth running of the club; co-ordinate & delegate effectively in teams online; attend regular meetings & record attendance.

Work experience in Marketing with property developers based in Cambridge. This involved updating the company website, research into competitive market trends, advert design, participating in board meetings and contributed ideas for Bidwells 180th anniversary celebrations.
