Responsibilities included:• Analyzed all-source Intelligence Reports from other reporting agencies in conjunction with the exploitation of evidence to establish patterns related to attacks against Coalition Forces. As a result of this effort, two HVT's were captured, numerous persons of interest, and a variety of weapons cache's throughout the Al Anbar Province in Iraq was recovered which resulted in a direct impact to terrorist weapon and troop movements in the area. • Exploited over 1,000 recovered devices to include laptops, desktops, cell phones, external storage devices such as thumb drives, hand held gaming devices such as Play Station Portable (PSP), as well as variety of IPod's and MP3 music players. EnCase v6 was the primary application used to exploit the media. In addition to EnCase, FTK Imager and FTK Forensic Tool Kit as well as many commercial applications like Scalpel and iLook were used when needed.
