Handling billing and collections along with excellent customer service.

I handle multiple facets of accounts receivable. My top priority is collections of past due invoices. I am heavily involved in the weekly billing process. I handle billing questions, cash posting, AR insurance, handling PBJ requests, as well as legal and external collection agency management. I run credit checks and manage maximum traveler counts for facilities. I make decisions on when we can increase staffing or when we need to pull travelers for nonpayment. However, I have been the AR manager here as well and have helped build the accounts receivable/billing team. I prepare monthly reports for owners and senior management.

I handled sole collections of past due accounts on $17 million of billing. It was a growing company so I developed their entire system of tracking and reporting collections. I reviewed all new facilities for credit worthiness through Experian, Dunn & Bradstreet, and Google searches. I was recovering approximately 98% of receivables within 30 days of terms in 2021. When starting in 2019 they were around 90% within 30 days of terms. This increase in keeping facilities within terms occurred during a time when the account receivables more than doubled. I was the accounting employee of the year in 2019. I also posted the majority of checks into QuickBooks.

Collections of hospital bills for facilities nationwide. This job required strict adherence of FDCPA, HIPAA, and other collection laws. I was consistently in the top 1/3 of collection dollars. I was a member of their activities team which provided fun events for employees and raised money for charity. I headed the group who provided a meal to the Ronald McDonald house.

Making massive amounts of calls for sales of credit card processing to small and medium sized businesses. I took this position as a way to move up in telephone sales. Unfortunately, they underwent a merger while I was in training which led to half the sales force being eliminated.

Responsible for print and digital advertising sales to small and medium sized businesses. This required a great understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital display advertising. I was always an above average producer who eventually found a niche on the win back team. This involved working with businesses who cancelled that year or the previous year to find better solutions. I won the most improved salesperson for the year of 2015. That year I was the first person to ever achieve a monthly gain on the win back team.

I managed a team of collectors on the recovering money from deceased individuals with credit card balances. This required a lot of negotiation with estates and attorneys. I taught others to research assets and make good decisions on evaluating these assets to either file claims on estates or take settlements that would benefit our clients. My exceptional abilities to lead teams and second voice calls had my VP rotate me to teams that needed a boost. I would generally spend 2-3 months on any team where we felt poor performance could cost us market share.

I was the second employee chosen to create and develop an internal collections team. Prior to this they simply sent accounts to a collection agency and provided no support for any questions. I was involved with the interviewing and choosing of internal candidates during the team's creation. My creation of the collections toggle button on our internal home screen made a system that routed calls and emails to our department. I also sent all US and international collection files to our agencies on encrypted emails. I received monthly updates from all agencies which I input in Excel spreadsheets for tracking and reporting to senior management.

Being the top collector in financial services in 2002 paved the way to becoming an operations supervisor. I made an immediate impact on my first team by doing side by sides with collectors on the dialer team. These were newer employees who were not managing the dialer correctly. They were not pushing out follow up dates and were churning the same non paying accounts. By touching accounts lower on the dialer order we greatly increased collections. I was promoted to our most competitive team where we moved to the first place agency and maintained that going forward.

I was in the electronic review department. The system would see an issue with a buy, sell, or option order that would require approval or denial. I always led the team in accuracy of orders taken and received excellent reviews.
