I'm part of a uniform leadership team that drives experience, culture and quality food within a fresh and casual environment. We focus on customer experience and connecting with our local community within and outside of the restaurant.I coordinate the CBD Local Matters Program at the Southbank restaurant which involves connecting to people in the local community, volunteering our time and supporting community groups and charities. Through this role I have established many strong connections throughout South Brisbane and always look forward to working with these individuals. Through the use of social media and personal networking I engage with center retailers always providing a great experience and delivering an exceptional product when in the restaurant. During my time at Grill'd I have been exposed to range of skills for leading a team in a high pressured environment, training and coaching people through Grill'd standards and procedures, consistently providing an engaged workplace for all employees whilst reaching targets and producing results for the restaurant and the company. I have had the exposure in rolling out new products to our team which involves new procedures and operations, had the responsibility of organising and coordinating interviews individual and group sizes to enhance the caliber of our team. Through this journey at Grill'd I have worked and connected with surrounding restaurants, learning from their management styles and key objectives which I acknowledge and take on board to build my personal skills and leadership qualities always striving for self improvement.

During my time at Hambledon Outside School Hours Care, I cared for a range of different aged children (prep - year 7). I also worked alongside children with disabilities and learning difficulties. My main role was to provide care for these children before and after school and also on school holidays. This was an exciting place to work as being able to work with children always kept you entertained and on your toes. I took great efforts to make the time that I spent with the children fun, exciting and entertaining, with many activities planned on different days.

I was an overall team member, who worked in multiple sections ranging from, service, taking orders, cooking, dishes, prep and salad monitoring. Working at Sizzler for 5 years taught me many life skills and gave me a broad range of hospitality knowledge. I grew my skill set in hospitality by becoming a certified trainer which allowed me to mentor and coach new employees coming through the restaurant. During this role I developed skills towards managing people of all ages and different behaviours.

At Nandos I had the responsibility of managing people and shifts which took my hospitality experience to its next stage. On a daily basis I opened and closed the restaurant, ordered and received stock, reconciled tills and end of day trading/wages, prepped and operated successful shifts within guidelines set by the franchisee. This position allowed me to develop my personal skills in leadership, time management and delivering quality customer service.
