I am educated in materials science and chemical engineering principles with a strong emphasis on alternative fuels and chemical analysis. I worked extensively on biodiesel, advanced liquid fuels, platform chemicals and alternative solid fuels from every day waste products like agricultural waste, coffee, poultry waste, and secondary sources. Through grad school I worked on catalytic cellolusic conversion to green chemicals. Since 2008, I have worked on chemical analysis techniques specially drug testing and cannabis testing, starting in 2015.I have gained entrepreneur and business experience through college business plan competitions. I have been the Winner of the Nevada Lt. Governors Cup in 2008 and 2010, for the business which best embodies alternative energy, and was finalist in the Nevada Governors Cup 2008 business plan competition:
