Melbourne Talk Radio was a News & Talk-back format radio station established as a joint venture between Macquarie Radio Network and Pacific Star Network. Melbourne Talk Radio launched on 19th April 2010 and ceased broadcasting on 2nd March 2012. Key Responsibilities:• Recruiting and building a new workforce of 20 including producers, journalists, audio producers and panel operators.• Overseeing staff management and HR functions (including contracts, annual leave, performance reviews).• Strategy planning and program development for the new radio station.• Developing budgets and monthly financial reporting procedures.• Working with creative agencies on seeking ways to promote the station via outside broadcasts and partnerships with the Herald Sun and TV stations.• Contributing to the design of a new studio facility and newsroom.• Web Producer and Social Media producer for the station’s sites.• Monitoring google analytics and clearly reporting results monthly to Board Members
