My experience is focused in the areas of employment and labor law compliance and litigation, including workers compensation and general commercial matters. Historically, my practice has also included insurance coverage and defense issues, transportation and auto liability, premises liability and general civil practice. The above practice areas have allowed me to represent clients before Florida and federal trial and appellate level courts and administrative bodies. I also participated in a lobbying effort addressing amendments to the Florida Statutes on the issue of automobile insurance coverage. I enjoy litigation and the challenges that come with it from initial discovery to the jury instructions and verdict form. More than litigation, though, I enjoy helping the people and businesses with whom I work remain compliant with the myriad of laws, rules and regulations that apply to so many aspects of small or large commercial endeavors. Through such efforts, I can help my clients make good decisions based on the legal issues that confront them prior to and during litigation and be prepared to efficiently defend against claims.
