• Develop operational concepts and products for the mechanical and electrical systems of future manned space flight vehicles.
• Create training products for operating the newly designed NASA Docking Systems (NDS) which will be used by multiple crew vehicles.
• Design displays and other operational products for the Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV) test flights.
• Assimilate products to construct a timeline of pyrotechnic events required during the duration of the Exploration Test Flight 1 (EFT-1) mission.

• Lead role for the command and data handling group for integrating updates to ISS flight software.
• Coordinate, organize, and facilitate the analysis and disposition of flight software and system change requests within the NASA Mission Operations Directorate.
• Ensure that flight software updates are prioritized appropriately within software development cycles and that critical deliveries are expedited by working with cross-functional groups across the ISS program.
• Develop tools and processes to track reviews of software change requests and associated product updates to streamline development times and improve the tracking of workload and cost metrics.
• Serve as Mission Operations focal for numerous avionics projects designed to mitigate safety risks and decrease costs.
• Ensure flight software and system requirements meet the needs of mission operations and recommend enhancements.

• Responsible for the operations and integration of the command and data handling systems onboard ISS.
• Led the largest update to core systems software in the history of manned space flight. This included updates to over 25 onboard computers across 9 different software suites. Activities included, but were not limited to.
• Provide real-time mission support and planning for long-term manned space flight operations.
• Responsible for the health and operations of ISS computers and networks supporting electrical power, thermal, environmental control, mechanical, and attitude control systems.
• Create procedures and rules for operations based on functional updates and operational philosophy changes to support mission objectives.
• Served as the lead for the command and data handling group in the successful completion of multiple joint ISS/Space Shuttle Missions

• Sought out and implemented low cost solutions for the Engström critical care respirator.
• Took advantage of alternate manufacturing methods by using Pro/E to redesign production parts.
• Rewrote the facility’s plan for the validation and implementation of design changes.
• Tested flow valves in order to solve issues pertaining to bias flow drift.

• Helped design and organize an assembly line for the production of hydraulic relief valves.
• Systematized storage of spare parts for the facility using MP2 software.
• Assisted in resolving problems with unstable cracking pressures of main relief valves for CNH.
• Maintained and improved the assembly process for multiple production lines.
• Analyzed issues and solved problems cited at daily manufacturing action meetings for the Mercedes Active Body Control (ABC) valves.
• Conducted controlled studies on several automotive valve assembly lines and suggested improvement procedure plans.
