Develop operational concepts and products for the mechanical and electrical systems of future manned space flight vehicles.• Create training products for operating the newly designed NASA Docking Systems (NDS) which will be used by multiple crew vehicles.• Design displays and other operational products for the Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV) test flights.• Assimilate products to construct a timeline of pyrotechnic events required during the duration of the Exploration Test Flight 1 (EFT-1) mission.

Lead role for the command and data handling group for integrating updates to ISS flight software.• Coordinate, organize, and facilitate the analysis and disposition of flight software and system change requests within the NASA Mission Operations Directorate.• Ensure that flight software updates are prioritized appropriately within software development cycles and that critical deliveries are expedited by working with cross-functional groups across the ISS program.• Develop tools and processes to track reviews of software change requests and associated product updates to streamline development times and improve the tracking of workload and cost metrics.• Serve as Mission Operations focal for numerous avionics projects designed to mitigate safety risks and decrease costs.• Ensure flight software and system requirements meet the needs of mission operations and recommend enhancements.

This included updates to over 25 onboard computers across 9 different software suites. Activities included, but were not limited to the following: - Integration of software transition testing prior to execution - Identifying software updates and coordinating the required updates to flight operations products - Assessing the viability and usefulness of software updates for operations - Crafting the complex timeline of technical activities required to support the 6 days of activities required to complete the transition - Working with a large team of people across organizations to ensure the goals of the ISS program were met while maintaining a safe environment for the ISS and the crew during the transition.• Provide real-time mission support and planning for long-term manned space flight operations.• Responsible for the health and operations of ISS computers and networks supporting electrical power, thermal, environmental control, mechanical, and attitude control systems.• Create procedures and rules for operations based on functional updates and operational philosophy changes to support mission objectives.• Served as the lead for the command and data handling group in the successful completion of multiple joint ISS/Space Shuttle Missions
