Develops and implements training, inspections and any other procedures to achieve these goals.Credentialed FDA contract inspector that has performed 72 BSE and 4 Medicated Feed Mill inspections under FDA contract to date.Designs, develops and implements highly complex technical programs within the AgChem department. Develops program priorities. Reviews registration applications, labels and tonnage reports to ensure that products submitted to AgChem are in compliance with both federal and state codes prior to issuing permits.Reads, writes and proofreads technical and non-technical articles, papers, news releases and correspondence.Establishes and tracks schedules for all phases of assigned grants, programs, projects and studies to ensure timely completion in a cost effective manner and in adherence to all departmental, state and federal requirements.Participates in the development of outreach efforts and provides technical guidance to support these programs.Represents the department on matters related to AgChem programs in hearings and meetings with the public and meetings with local officials and representatives of other state or federal agencies or other groups.Responsible for facility and fleet maintenance, information services and inventory and property control at the departmental office.
