My name is Jason de Leon and I was born in San Francisco and grew up in Daly City. I attended Skyline College in San Bruno, and received my Associate of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Letters and Science. I then transferred to San Francisco State University where I received my Bachelors in Criminal Justice. While I was attending San Francisco State, I was placed on the academic deans list in 2013 for maintaining a 3.0 GPA. I knew when I graduated from high school that I wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement. I accepted an internship opportunity with San Francisco Police Department both in the Community Relations and Backgrounds Division. After I finished my term with S.F.P.D as an intern, I was hired with Sunnyvale Public Safety as a Cadet. During my tenure at Sunnyvale Public Safety I was assigned to various departments. My last assignment was with the Parks Division. My duties as a Parks Division Cadet consisted of interacting with the public, advising fellow residents of our city ordinances, and identifying problems that might be a concern to public safety. Currently, I'm employed with Alameda County Sheriff’s Office and assigned to the custody division.
