Jason is an adaptable innovator, mentor, and scholar seeking a mechanical engineer-in-training position. He has developed creative solutions to challenges in academic and startup environments through brainstorming, systematic optimization, and critical thinking. As a passionate mentor, he empowers students and teammates by identifying challenges and providing clear, actionable solutions and demonstrations. A lifelong learner, he excels at self-teaching and stepping into critical roles that enhance his team’s technical capacity. Inspired by his father's engineering legacy, Jason earned both a bachelor's and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. During his undergraduate studies, he participated in maker events and engineering design teams, including a robotics competition called "Robot-In-3-Days." Also, he developed a research tool for dynamic CT scanning for his bachelor's thesis project. For his graduate thesis, he developed a non-invasive diagnostic system for Tevosol, his sponsor company, and then pursued his passion for product development at Copperstone Technologies. As a junior mechanical engineer, he transformed concepts into fully realized solutions through mechanical design, prototyping, and testing.Skilled in SolidWorks, Jason holds four technical certifications in mechanical design, drawing, and simulations. His leadership and client-facing roles have sharpened his interpersonal communication skills, emphasizing empathy and active listening. In his free time, Jason enjoys tinkering with his 3D printer, playing badminton, and singing Frank Sinatra at karaoke.
