I have secured funding authority to increase the department to 12 personnel.• Manage and maintain 252 Facilities, utilities infrastructure, improved air field, tactical airfield, and over 100 miles of road network.• Manage a maintenance planning budget of $3 million with the ability to request additional funding through other agencies.• Develop strategies and funding sources for future five year plan for maintenance, remodeling, and new construction.

Responsible for future new construction, remodels, and system replacement of Wyoming Army National Guard faculties throughout the state , development of initial project scope, cost estimates, coordination to secure funding through federal and state resources, coordination and incorporation of stakeholder requirements, selection of design consultants and construction contractors, project design and construction budget management, design and construction management of projects, verification of regulation and code compliance, and warrantee issues. • Lead a professional Engineering Staff up to 11 including: Professional Engineers, Engineers-in-Training, Registered Architect, and construction project managers conducting in-house and contracted design and construction projects.• Engineering staff managed initial concept, design, construction, and commissioning of multiple types and scopes of projects totaling over $160 million over a 5 year period plus numerous large scale facility system upgrades.• Developed, internally marketed, and implemented internal standards to adopt a new design and construction vehicle for large scale projects resulting in a $10 million building construction project being completed beyond base building requirements, under budget, and ahead of schedule. Project received a national design-build award from DBIA (Design-Build Institute of America).

Responsible for the management, coordination, support, and safety oversight of all ranges and training areas for all Department of Defense units and other federal, state, and local agencies on Camp Guernsey. • Lead a staff up to 30 permanent and temporary employees including range safety specialists and range maintenance staff that required various scheduling to meet 24 hour operations.• Developed the necessary requirements and justification to secure the necessary funding to increase training facility size from 35,000 acres to 85,000 acres.• Developed the necessary Standard Operating Procedures to triple the usage of the training facility from 40,000 man-days to over 120,000 man-days per year. With these basic standards set, my successor was able to achieve over 350,000 man-days in the following years.• Developed the necessary relationships with a state law enforcement agency to facilitate and secure a year round training partnership and presence at Camp Guernsey.
