My primary role is to manage the technical, financial, and contractual aspects of energy savings performance contracts as they are developed from feasibility to implementation to measurement and verification. This requires the ability to perform site audits and produce reports for feasibility studies, investment grade audits, and technical RFP responses. I also utilize analysis of energy and operational savings calculations, lifecycle cost analysis, and long term energy and capital planning in order to help guide the customer through the decision making process to create a project that meets their needs. I perform financial analyses including net present value determinations, annual cash-flow analysis, as well as investigating loans, grants, and other funding sources on behalf of the customer. When assembling construction contracts, I develop scopes of work and pricing with subcontractors, vendors, and internal resources to meet the energy savings, functionality, and capital upgrades the project is intended to provide. I also develop custom measurement and verification plans to validate the guaranteed savings are being achieved.

Performed HVAC building load calculations. Prepared and evaluated buildng energy models for lifecycle cost analysis and LEED certification submittal. Estimated project costs for both rough budget, and competitive bid situations. Specified and located major equipment and approved submittals for procurement. Designed and sized piping and ductwork for building HVAC systems. Prepared construction documents for approval by the code authority and implementation by field personnel.
