In the Security Operations Center, the SOC Lead Operator, under guidance of the Shift Supervisor, is responsible for assisting Operators complete their tasks by, providing guidance, mentoring, training and auditing results. Leads assist leadership with pulling crystal reports and modifying them as necessary, and writing after action reports. Leads take point on incidents including natural disasters, terrorist attacks, medical emergencies and any possible security breach. Regular duties also include communicating with leadership, analyzing reports to find ways to reduce the workload.
