Delivered on goal in less than 18 months, assembling a team of 20 engineers, with an annual operating budget of $6.7M. Team earned recognition by Human Resources as the most diverse team at the facility across multiple categories.- Developed new team roles to support emerging broadcast and media technologies, virtual, and cloud platforms - Upskilled existing Broadcast Engineering team members to transition into new IT focused roles and recruited and hired diverse candidates skilled in the application of enterprise IT solutions across broadcast and media technologies and workflows- Led 100% of the team to earn 1 or more professional IT certifications- Created solution to rapidly move away from legacy video tape and satellite media delivery workflows- Designed and implemented multiple AWS Cloud workflows, integrated with Telestream Vantage on-prem, for processing incoming and outgoing media and metadata for programming content, including media and metadata replication for DR and virtual servers- Replaced 100% of all video tape workflows with file workflows, delivering 75% reduction of labor in 12 months- Saved $250k annually in tape machine maintenance and freed up expensive satellite transponders
