Responsibilities included:• Creation of control documentation such as work instructions as well as PFMEA’s for new products.• Design of assembly fixtures and tooling needed for the manufacturing of new products using SolidWorks. • Setup of in-process testing using network analyzers.• Troubleshooting of assembly line issues during production.• Using SAP to monitor production schedules and inventory levels.• Working on a team with design, test, and electrical engineers to solve problems with current products.• Closely working with mechanical and electrical design engineers to assist in the design of new products. • Creation of prototype assemblies used for testing and also to send to customers after design validation. • Support of the production facility based in Mexico, as well as transferring developed products to that facility in order to increase profitability.

Responsibilities included:• Creation of control documentation for the launch of new products, including work instructions. • Design of assembly fixtures for use on the production floor using SolidWorks. • Instruction for production personnel on the assembly of new products.• Troubleshooting of production floor issues. • Involvement in Kaizen events to increase productivity of the production lines.• Field service of faulty products at customer sites.• Modification and development of engineering blueprints used to redesign the facilities production and engineering spaces using DraftSight.

Responsibilities included:• Designing and building of prototype cable assemblies for engineering as well as for marketing purposes. • Assisting floor workers with manufacturing problems. • Helping set up production runs, and prioritization of work orders.
