The principals of Sage shared a passion for green building and our work was known locally as "building dark green" (we were adamantly opposed to greenwashing). We loved what we did and it showed. Our homes won award after award, both for their green performance as well as for their aesthetic design. I'm afraid the real estate bust spelled the end of an all-too-short era for Sage, but the lessons learned from that period were invaluable to me.
