Currently, I am an Operations Engineer at Ascend Software. The Covid-19 crisis has all but flattened my previous industry. However, I've decided to use the downtime learn new skills and change careers to something I find exciting, challenging and that holds opportunity for advancement. I studied C#, React and Javascript at Epicodus. I chose Epicodus for its rigorous curriculum, solid reputation, networking and team focused attitude. Formerly I was an Assistant Manager and Inventory Manager at a paper distribution company responsible for overseeing day to day operations of a team and store front as well as providing service to client accounts. After Epicodus I Interned with the development team at Ascend Software before being hired on to join their technical support team. Six months later I was promoted to the engineering team.
