Responsible for the team that maintains and develops the faculty's information systems and web-based services.

On a one year, 60% FTE secondment to the team responsible for implementing ITIL Service Management tools and processes to the University of Leeds IT Service. My role was to develop the Problem Management process.

Responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of one of a set of computer clusters for use by academics across the UK.Since 2009, member of National Grid Service Management Board with responsibility for research and development effort to create new services and enhance existing services.

Part time position, specialising in the detection and investigation of compromised computer systems and the analysis and mitigation of IT security risks.

Provided Research IT support and developed and maintained the IT system for the School of the Environment - initially on my own, later in charge of a small team.When the School merged with Earth Sciences to form School of Earth and Environment, involved in the integration of the two systems.

Developing a finite element model of three-dimensional flow over orography on an adaptive tetrahedral grid.
