He is focused on aligning leaders, maximizing value delivered to customers, creating scalable cloud solutions, and introducing sustainable, dependable processes. While many technology leaders structure their organization and processes strictly from the mindset of a software engineer, Jason leverages his cross-functional experience to design an organization that is truly set up to deliver results. He has changed culture from “technology first” to “customer first” while reducing production outages over 90%.At Nu Skin International, Jason led the Agile Practice, Product Management, and Enterprise Services engineering teams through a time of significant transformation. He modernized software development, founded the Global Agile Practice, launched Scrum@Scale, and staffed up Digital Product Management to support all 26 development teams. Jason also led the organization responsible for global finance, value stream, marketing, and sales order processing services powered by SAP.As Sr. Director of Software Engineering with Endurance International, Jason led the U.S. western division and teams in India, a total team size of 150. His organization became the highest-performing organization in the company. Inspired by Spotify, Lean, and Agile, he transformed the teams to be 100% cross-functional improving the department’s flexibility, cross-training, dependencies, cycle time, and focus on customer-value. He streamlined workflow processes to put the business leaders in the driver’s seat, resulting in approval to double the size of the organization. Career development was overhauled with new job descriptions, career grids, and a data-driven performance evaluation process ultimately adopted company-wide. With Jason as the senior leader, the Provo UT office became a center of excellence across the company.
