Since 2016 I have been primarily a Java developer working on Integrations between 3rd party systems and Genesys Cloud.I have really enjoyed our team moving from a "I own this and I did this" to an agile team "We own this and we implemented this". Meaning that there are always multiple people who can pitch in on a project and help out when there is an issue. Pairing on problems is incredibly powerful.Added tooling for creating mTLS infrastructure in AWS as well as a test application for verifying mTLS usage.Consistently help out questions for my teams products on our Developer Forum as well as creating a webinar on using Data Actions.C# / C++ / JavaScript development work on on existing integrations to SAP and Lync as well as data dip integrations to a variety of CRM systems.I was the primary designer of a web service API for our Automated Dialer product, along with being a major contributor on the implementation of the Dialer web API.

In charge of our build team, install team, and Interactive Update (a tool for updating our software on client machines)Reduced the install team's work-in-process to accomplish more. Installs went from being a painful bottleneck to being so far ahead we stopped discussing them at the weekly product status meeting.Due to multi-week lead times on building feature branches I justified the purchase of a SAN and personally modified our build system to make use of it. Turnaround time for feature branches improved to same-day.Enjoyed getting my hands dirty in our build system, implementing many speedups and stability improvements.Directed a lot of my team's efforts into adding self service capabilities for our end users, many common operations could be done without human intervention via a web site.Hired quite a few really good interns and turned them into full time hires.Responsible for the ISO 27001 audits for software development.
