I am a professional Medical Illustrator seeking to apply my experience and expertise to its fullest potential by communicating scientific knowledge to others.During my decades of work in publishing and online content creation, I have served in supervisory roles and had the opportunity to train talented employees at multiple companies. In my current position as Biomedical Media Manager at MPS North America, and also as owner and principal artist of Quail Ridge Studios, I am in constant communication with artists, clients, and medical experts and strive to translate their needs into illustrations and designs that are captivating. My primary responsibility at MPS is coordinating multiple art programs between clients, freelancers, and internal artists while maintaining integrity and quality. At the same time, I am responsible for keeping an eye on new technologies that will be of benefit to our central mission. I maintain budgets for all jobs, both internally and often for clients. I was soon made lead illustrator and retained my position after restructuring. My employment at EPS began after nine years of self-employment at Quail Ridge Studios, where I collaborated with publishers, medical professionals, and others to create medical illustrations and designs for clients across the globe. Prior to starting my own company, I was the Art Director for Interactive Composition Corporation. During my tenure, we built our art department from a single-person department to a staff of more than thirty artists and proofreaders largely based in New Delhi, India.
