In this strategic position I provided management consultation to vice president level staff leaders in 15 of the largest 50 metro areas in the country. Areas of expertise include volunteer leadership recruitment; staff selection and development; business growth; management skills and competencies; team building. I was recruited into this position by senior staff at the AHA national offices.

Senior management position responsible for progressively increasing levels of fund- raising in two merged business units. Managed one of the largest revenue generating field territories ($9,000,000) in the country with 6 VP or director level reports and 100 downline staff. Additionally, provided oversight to internal consultant team and customer strategies team. Position required regular travel across 4 states; significant collaboration, organization, team building and sales skills/knowledge required.

Led development operations, program services, HR, IT and finance in the Pennsylvania/Delaware affiliate business unit. Extensive experience with high level volunteer board of directors. Shared P&L responsibilities with Executive Vice President. This business unit was among the most high performing in the country with top ten performance (of 56) in development, program service delivery, research funding and budget management.

Led development of first professional HR office for the Pennsylvania Delaware affiliate of the AHA.
