I was proud to be voted in as a Governor of Marus Bridge Primary School in 20010, and even more delighted when voted in to be the Chair of the governing Body in 2017. I have been the Chair of the Finance Committee since 2013, which is the body that oversees all the expenditure and budgets at the School.The school is current going from strength to strength and I am delighted to have been part of that growth over the years, which has seen the school rise to being outstanding in so many areas.
My initial role at Azizi Media was to start off a new project for the company in the motor industry, meeting with motor dealers and selling the benefits of using Azizi web sites with their optimisation package and also to use a database system to upload and publish their cars. As the industry changed, I was integral in looking for new online advertising and marketing avenues that we could recommend to our clients and potential clients.
Selling airtime, sponsorship and promotion deals to a full range of small, medium and large businesses. I originally started with generating my own clients and then managing these accounts. I was always a willing volunteer to go on air or to help the PR staff on the roadwhen I could as this helped me to learn the business better. I exceeded expectations by 20% in my first year. My revenue grew by 45% in my second year, I continued to better targets year on year in my time here.
