I am the founder and principal of a consulting practice focused on helping non-profits and start-ups achieve their goals. During this time, I focus on organizational design, strategies for marketing, communications, operations, and business development, among other areas. Additionally, I manage large, complex programs from concept to launch. SELECTED CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS:HEROES LINKED PROGRAM, MVAT FOUNDATION – DIRECTOR == Created and executed strategy to launch and grow the Heroes Linked Program, a career services initiative for veterans. == Directed day-to-day operations, managed $300K+ budget, led staff, and developed and implemented strategic roadmap. == Turned around troubled technology rollout, rebuilding/deploying the platform for 1400+ users and 400+ advisors.== Secured 20% in new funding, improved awareness, and earned awards from VSOs for the program’s success.RESPONSIBLE OFFSHORE SCIENCE ALLIANCE (ROSA) – ADMINISTRATOR == Incorporated non-profit as a 501(c)(3), facilitated the board of directors, and created foundational policies/procedures. == Developed and executed organizational strategy, leading fundraising, developing marketing materials, and hiring staff. == Built infrastructure, launched website, and oversaw regulatory filings in addition to hiring/training new Executive Director.WALGREENS BOOTS ALLIANCE – PROGRAM MANAGER== Created and executed Walgreens’ national education program to reach local oncology nurse and care provider chapters. == Piloted 5-7 successful dinner/learning sessions within the 1st year, covering topics such as treatment options and burnout. = = Grew program into 25 meetings by the 3rd year, coordinating speakers, budgets, and all other event logistics. == Developed marketing & promotion strategy, directed chapter outreach, and managed internal/external communications.

In 2013, I was recruited to lead TCM’s life science and advanced technology industry programs. In this role, I directed a $300K+ portfolio to support early-stage technology companies within Maryland. During this time, I managed logistics for 24+ programs annually, including featured speaker tours, technology round tables, and other events. Additionally, I designed and produced sales, sponsorship, marketing, and communication materials for programs and initiatives. Also notable, I formed and led cross-functional team of graphic designers, public relations professionals, and media consultants. Equally important, I established, developed, and managed strategic relationships with key corporate partners and members. As a result, I oversaw joint programming with state, county, and municipal partners and ensured all stakeholder goals were met or exceeded.

In 2012, I served as a non-profit professional in a variety of roles for the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC). During this time, I designed and coordinated communication strategy across social media, print, web, and other media for educational initiatives. Additionally, I developed marketing and outreach strategies for ACCC’s 17K+ members.As a result, I assisted in building ACCC’s education project infrastructure, curated content, and developed media presence as a cross-functional contributor. Also notable, I led the Educational Services Committee, managed grant proposal process, and facilitated project advisory boards and committees. Equally important, I designed and launched membership and sales strategies in addition to developing new member orientation platforms. While serving in various roles, I improved member engagement by reaching out about new opportunities and educating members on how to maximize ROI. Additionally, I launched strategies to identify, recruit, and retain large, multi-hospital systems to join ACCC’s growing list of members.

Earlier in my career, I directed the operations of ACCC’s Executive Committee, Board of Trustees, and Volunteer committees while serving as Ambassador to its staff. In this capacity, I oversaw the strategic planning process, managed communications, and ensured legal and regulatory needs were met. Additionally, I led 8-10 membership committees, facilitating collaboration to translate the organization’s vision into actionable plans. Also notable, I managed operational reporting efforts for internal leadership meetings, producing reports, presentations, and dashboards. Equally important, I prepared the annual budget, coordinated annual leadership elections, and managed recurring board meetings.As a result, I improved corporate member engagement/education programs by partnering with the Asst. Executive Director and Corporate Relations. Additionally, I championed best practices throughout ACCC focused on increasing efficiency, improving communication, and reducing costs.
