My current role with BSN Sports is to target schools/accounts that we do not currently work with and do whatever it takes to develop relationships with key decision makers within those accounts. I use my background as a NFL/College player and college coach to help those coaches in any way possible. From breaking down film to speaking to their athletes about my career, I do everything I can to help change any negative perceptions of BSN Sports as well as do whatever I can to help those coaches in anyway possible. Those relationships are key when it comes to getting these individuals to start doing business with BSN Sports. My ultimate goal is to get those schools to get out of their current deal and sign on to partner with BSN Sports for their athletic apparel, supplies, uniform and equipment needs.

Coached the Linebackers coach at TCU and called the defense with Coach Patterson on game days during my last 2 seasons as the LB coach. It was just after I retired from the NFL and I learned more football in those 4-5 years as a coach than I did throughout my most of my entire time as a player. Working that close with someone like Gary Patterson showed me exactly how to be successful, no matter what. Calling the defense was one of the most difficult, demanding, time-consuming, stressful, jobs I've ever, or will ever, experience. That being said, it was also some of the most fun years I had in football, helped me transition out of being a "football player" which can be some of the toughest years any athlete goes through, and showed me why it's vital for a leader to have the highest level of accountability. The only reason I stepped away was because I wanted to try something new. I'd done nothing but football from 10-32, I had to take on DIFFERENT challenges so I could prove to myself I was more than just someone lucky enough to be really good at a popular kids game.

Blew my knee out for the 3rd time on day four of Fall Camp and that was about it for my stop in Philly and pretty much the nail in the coffin of the career.

Came close to making a Pro Bowl on special teams after leading the league in tackles through week 10. That being said, like the rest of my NFL career, the season was cut short when I tore my calf from the bone game 11 and that was it for that season.

Blew my knee out at the combine, wasn't expecting to get drafted but was fortunate enough to get picked up as the first pick in the 5th round. I had to look at the glass full and after looking inward and outward in every area of my life at the time, I learned that without dropping in the draft and going to the Ravens in the 5th instead of the Cowboys or Chicago in the 2nd, I may not have been able to make it to 6 years and get vested in the NFL. I say that because the Ravens and Coach Harbaugh focused A LOT on making sure their special team's players were coached up, played hard, and understood that special teams was just as important as offense and defense. Thanks to that detailed coaching, I was able to utilize that coaching to help me consistently beat out Ol' veterans and prove that most of the new rookies looked like Tarzan but played like Jane. Pretty soon I gained a reputation of being a player who the coaches knew they could trust to have the knowledge to be a solid back up for all 3 Linebacker positions, be a great scout team player, and be a monster on special teams. What always made me laugh was watching the cocky little turds from USC or Alabama who were too good to do any of that BS special team or scout team work., In their mind playing those positions and owning those roles was "below them." They'd been ballin in the SEC, didn't you know? Sadly, after fall camp, most of them learned that the only thing "below them" was air because when the coaches cut the team down to 53, most of them were on that red eye going home. I didn't care, I was getting ready to play game one.
