I'm a hardworking individual with strong communication skills, high attention to detail and have always had a 'chip on my shoulder' mentality that has become my internal drive and self-motivation. I have an ability to learn quickly and get excited about difficult challenges because they provide a unique opportunity for growth, personally and professionally. My strong communication skills and willingness to share information and work with others to achieve a goal is one thing I posses that a lot of people seem to lack. I've always been more about getting the job done instead of squabbling over who get's the credit if we get it done. Let's get it done and the credit will take care of itself. My background in sports is easily the reason I have the ability to do well at any challenge thrown my way. My dad was a coach so excuses and complaining were never a option for me. Growing up the expectation was to get the job done no matter what. If a problem comes up, find a solution and find a way to achieve the goal that was established from the beginning, nothing else was excepted. I also think that attitude is what helped me stay in the NFL for 6 years even though I had 3 knee surgeries during that time and was a little undersized. The older I get the more I surprise myself when it comes to what I am able to achieve. I'm surprised because the reasons for being successful are usually always the same, or close to the same. Show up early, stay late, outwork everyone, be on time, listen a lot more than you talk and stay humble. Those few traits have been the most beneficial to me achieving my goals whether it's in playing a sport, coaching a sport, working to grow business or anything else I do in life. Change is good but I will never change those aspects of my work ethic.
