He was instrumental in the acquisitions of E-Trade and Solium Capital as well as several smaller transactions. He was a member of the Wealth Management Operating and Management Committees and worked closely with Firm Leadership, Boards of Directors, and external constituents. As Head of Wealth Management Platforms and Reengineering, Jason implemented multiple technology platform enhancements and drove the Wealth Management contributions to an enterprise initiative that realized $1B of savings in run rate expenses. While overseeing Wealth and Investment Management Treasury, Jason delivered liquidity enhancements resulting in billions of dollars of benefit and optimized funding costs by balancing funding sources. As the COO of Wealth Management Operations, he provided strategic leadership to 800+ employees and managed a $500M budget.As head of the MSSB Technology Conversion, Jason managed 2K+ project resources on the $1B+ 4-year platform integration of Smith Barney into Morgan Stanley, successfully converting 6.5M+ client accounts, $900B+ in AUM, and 15K+ users – at the time the largest brokerage integration ever undertaken. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Jason held various technical roles and also has entrepreneurial experience as the founder of an information security start up.
