Since 2005, I have played an active role in the Southern California employee benefits marketplace, with a focus on school district purchasing pools (Multiple Employer Trusts and Joint Powers Authorities). I have provided consulting, management and administration services to various purchasing pools throughout the state. Currently, I am managing the Regional Employer/Employee Partnership for Benefits (REEP for Benefits) providing leadership, direction and strategy based on my experience and knowledge of employee benefits and California schools. As the past administrator of the California Purchasers Health Care Coalition (CPHCC), and the California Health Care Coalition (CHCC), I've had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the largest school district insurance purchasing pools in the state of California. Both organizations have provided a forum for information sharing and education which has benefited thousands in the state. I am proud of my contributions to the cause of providing high quality, affordable benefit programs to California school employees, and continue to work towards that end.
