I have delivered significant growth in the midstream space in various roles progressing to Director, Strategy, and Business Development. In these roles I led a team of commercial experts in the development of Enbridge's infrastructure businesses in Canada, with a particular focus on infrastructure related to natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG). I employ a highly collaborative leadership style that has successfully captured a series of capital investments, including acquisitions. I have also been responsible for the management of the subsequent earnings and P&L. I led the development of Enbridge's western Canadian gas strategy and later its LNG strategy, with a particular focus in both cases on macro economic considerations.I have been able to leverage my significant breadth and depth of experience to employ a rigorous facts-based approach to this role. This entails thorough analysis of all aspects of opportunities including market fundamentals and macro economics (price, market accessibility and size), risk analysis including above ground (regulatory, political, fiscal) and below ground (supply, geotechnical) , economic and financial quantification, contractual negotiations and commercial due diligence. This has established a consistent track record of early risk identification and mitigation yielding consistently attractive and predictable returns.

I led a small team of technical and commercial experts in the development, evaluation and execution of oil & gas infrastructure opportunities up to $500MM, including acquisitions, green and brownfield developments. As project sponsor, my team and I focused on opportunity identification and development, negotiations, high-level oversight of the Pre-FEED, FEED, and regulatory processes and project execution.

I led an integral part of the strategic evaluation of Penn West's infrastructure culminating in the disposition of certain non-core assets. I also acted as Joint Venture manager providing commercial oversight for various non-operated upstream producing assets. This included assessing potential drilling opportunities, maintenance activities and secondary & tertiary recovery opportunities. This required an understanding of changing fiscal regimes, commodity price outlooks and assessing overall economic viability.

I held a variety of roles ranging from business analysis to commercial and business development and corporate strategy.StrategySignificant changes in the external environment precipitated a rigorous and comprehensive review of Talisman's strategy. Working as a member of the corporate strategy team I was engaged in the development and validation of Talisman's upstream strategy. Primary region of focus was South-East Asia but also included evaluating M&A and A&D opportunities in various producing regions outside of North America and the North Sea. Analysis included assessing regulatory and political risks, tax and fiscal regimes, access to market and ultimate subsurface opportunity. Evaluated both operated and non-operated opportunities. Business AnalysisI focused on the analysis of business performance, budgeting and planning. Subsequent work focused on business development, strategic planning and project management within the Midstream business unit.
