With almost 16 years as a sales consultant in the travel industry, the recent impact of the COVID-19 has been devastating not only for me and my colleagues, but the industry as a whole. The impact however is not just in job losses but in the narrowing of the world in which we live. What I have loved doing in my role is connecting people with the right travel experiences, allowing my customers to visit and experience other places in ways that have been truly life changing.My own travels over the years, first on my own, then with my partner and then our family, allows me to help tailor itineraries and experiences. I enjoy helping my repeat customers go further and further out in the world and enjoy hearing about their trips afterwards. It's this genuine interest in the people that travel as well as travel itself that underpins my success in the industry.
