I have been involved in the print industry since December 2005 working as a Digital Print Operator. In my job role I successfully worked within a team and demonstrated excellent time and print management skills through achieving daily deadlines. My biggest strength is my commitment and hard working attitude towards doing my job to the best of my ability, always striving to be better with a 'can do' attitude. After many years working as a Digital Print Operator, on 3rd February 2020 I moved into the Customer service team working in my new role as a Customer Service Representative on a temporary basis during lockdown where I learned new skills in a different side of the industry. I really enjoyed experiencing working in a Customer Service role as i interacted more with customers providing the kind of service i would expect and a found it to be area of work that i would enjoy working in again. I was the sole person on-site in Customer Service and had to work with other departments to ensure jobs were completed and the smooth running of the department was not impacted by the absence of the Customer Service team onsite.After lockdown ended, I moved back into Production as a Digital Print Operator/Print Lead where i am responsible for a number of operators that i offer guidance and support to fulfil the jobs in production. In this role i am still involved as a print operator, but alongside this i have to plan work in production by preparing the correct paper for the job and ensuring job details are correct. I am also involved in raising PO's for items such as inks, toner and paper.In my first job role i cleared a 7-year backlog of files, bringing them. In my time at CDS, i helped with the successful transition of a scanning department from our site in Cheltenham to where i was working in Aylesbury by spending a week with the team in Cheltenham and helping to setup the department in Aylesbury where we cleared a backlog of files and got them all up to date.At the beginning of 2024 i did my FA Playmaker's course, Safeguarding and currently doing my First Aid course in football. With these qualifications i go into my daughter's Primary School once a week to coach the girls football team in years 3-6 and have been doing that for 4 months. As well as this, i help coach my daughter's club football team in their training sessions. I find my skills i have learned in my current role have helped me with communicating, organising sessions and planning ahead. Equally, i feel the experience of coaching and communicating to a group benefits me in my work role.
