On October 8th, 2005, 2,000 Teach For America alumni came to the 15th Anniversary National Alumni Summit in Washington, D.C., where they heard from speakers like Congressman John Lewis (D-GA) and Marian Wright Edelman, founder of the Children's Defense Fund, networked with more than 50 employers at the Opportunities Fair, and heard from inspiring alumni.
