Marine Industries supplies greaseless bearings to the marine industry and various industries. We also supply repair and new build parts for the completion of projects on marine vessels. Marine Industries' coverage area is comprised of the inland waterways in the United States. There are many industrial applications for our greaseless bearing products that are environmentally beneficial as well as economical.

I currently run my own small business specializing in new construction, remodeling, and real estate appraisals. A major part of keeping my business successful is developing and maintaining business relationships and a satisfied client base. Billing, bookkeeping, and collection duties are also essential duties that are performed in the course of a normal day. In the process of completing a building project, scheduling and managing all subcontractors in each stage of the building and remodeling process is imperative for success. Within the building process, organizing and purchasing all materials and supplies requires being up to date on material availability and price. Dedication to providing high quality work at prices that are favorable to all of my clients is very important to the well being of my company. In order to weather the current economic conditions in my industry, I have diversified into organizing repairs for some local real estate agents on properties that have gone into foreclosure and repossession.

As a financial advisor, I called upon clients and potential clients to assist them in meeting their financial goals. Communication with my clients was via phone calls, emails, and personal visits. After meeting with clients and obtaining personal and financial information and goals, a financial advisor analyzes the information and develops a plan that met their objectives. When presenting a plan, it is essential to review it with the client and discuss any pressing issues. Another service that was offered to my clients was closely monitoring their portfolios. It was also my responsibility to stay up to date on all financial and insurance products including the best products for various situations and conditions.

My department was responsible for assembly of all corrugated displays for domestic and international distribution for the Learning Horizons division of the American Greetings subsidiary Carlton Cards. I was responsible for coordinating the assembly process. In order to coordinate the production of the displays, direct communication was maintained with the corporate office in Cleveland, Ohio on all current and future projects relating to my department. Another aspect of the assembly was managing all manpower in the department which would range between 7 and 75 people depending on the amount of manpower and time needed to complete the tasks on or before deadlines for shipment. I was also involved with purchasing duties of plant supplies.
