I am a new graduate from the William E. Macaulay Honors College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. I informally focused my studies during the latter half of my undergraduate time on data science and machine learning courses, including one graduate level Introduction to Deep Learning course.During my senior year I worked on a research project, overseen by Professor Aftab Ahmad of CUNY John Jay College, to test the viability of deep learning models for identifying anomalies in health care data sets. As part of this work I trained deep learning models on image data, primarily neural activity spectrograms and brain MRI scans.I am seeking Data Scientist, Data Analyst, and Machine Learning Engineer positions.In my free time I do creative writing and worldbuilding. I have been doing some variant of this for the last eight years. I am drawn to the process of coming up with fragments of setting details and lore and then assembling the chaotic mass of ideas into an orderly and complete setting, which also ties into my passion for working with data and code - similar processes of deriving order from chaos.I am well-versed with Python and its data science ecosystem (pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, streamlit, others). I have experience with Tensorflow and building, training, evaluating deep learning models with it, as well as some contact with PyTorch.
