Contributed to development of the first NOAA Commercial Space Policy and implementation of NOAA's Commercial Weather Data Pilot project.

Coordinated State Department involvement in space launch approvals and debris recoveries requiring engagement with foreign governments. Facilitated resolution of specific export control issues in coordination with other bureaus.

Supported the OSTP Director in overseeing America's space program, including the International Space Station program, interplanetary exploration missions, and the NASA budget. Organized several space-related media events for the President and Vice President, including the release of the first images from the Mars Pathfinder spacecraft.
