Responsible for planning assigned materials to ensure global supply.To balance the objectives of maximum product availability with strategic inventory plans. Products may be produced at multiple AB sites, or purchased from key suppliers, and replenished to the Distribution Centres.Solely responsible for planning the manufacture or purchase of a given product at given production site or supplier.Planning responsibilities include product forecasting, inventory turns, reorder points, product allocation, product availability and product life cycle management.Responsible for analyzing inventory trends and proposing process improvement and the generation or management of key reports, metrics and projects.Forecasting and safety stock management.Production and/ or purchase order management.Daily STO and backorder review and management.Developing, providing and analyzing periodic reports.Resolve supply issues by working with in-house partners and/ or suppliers.Shelf life management (if applicable).Minimize scrap due to age and obsolescence.Data collection/ reporting for metrics and general analysis.Participate in process improvement and determine appropriate actions.Help develop procedures and ensure compliance.Sales Order management.Standard cost role preparation (pricing and batch size reviews if applicable)MRP view maintenance in Oracle.
