• Calculation of taxable income by allowing and disallowing certain income and expenses on fund level and investor level as per IRS regulations.• Filling of Federal return & State return and there K1s for US based hedge Funds (Partnerships only), including all adjustments required for calculation of taxable Income.• Checking the filing requirements of State Returns and informing client about interest and penalty there on.• Providing Estimates and Reconciliation of accounting income and taxable income to client when requested.• Issuing of Form 1042 and 1099 misc. • Reconciliation and Reclassification of income as per Forms 1099 issued by broker houses.• Handling funds like Equity, Future, FOF (Funds of fund), PTP (Publicly traded partnership) & Master feeder.• Proper allocation of all Line items for Trading and Non trading incomes for all Investors (Partners). • All filling requirements as required under US based IRS tax laws including all footnotes and forms requirements.• Doing internal audit of RTA, by checking whether fund information entered in RTA System software is correct as per records provided by client like Investor information, proper ID and contact information, bank details and activities (such as subscription, addition , redemption, transfers)are booked in correct manner.• Supporting in conducting SAS Audit by preparing the data to be provided to auditor related to internal controls when new fund arrives, also providing walkthrough of our system software and reconciling it with broker statements.

• From day to day accounting till preparation of Balance Sheet and P & L Account with all the statutory compliances, by ensuring adherence to Accounting Standards, Scrutinizing of Trial Balance and applicability of Indian GAAP.• Handling independently various branch imprest accounts.• Reconciliation of transactions with various branches.• Responsible for all statutory compliances like Direct and Indirect Taxes.• Ensure compliances for Direct Taxes i.e. Income tax, TDS, computation of income and tax thereon, advance tax on projections, filling of all quarterly and annual returns.• Responsible for compliances of Indirect Taxes which include Service Tax (CENVAT credit), monthly reconciliations, calculating of liability, filling of half yearly returns.• Preparation of monthly profitability, debtors ageing.• Reconciliation of debtors and creditors account.• Managing and regulating billing process of the company.
