The purpose is to help people who for any reason cannot or wish not to go to the hospital. The company guarantees a safe, confidential and comfortable service. YoVoySalud together with collaboration with other various NGOs support patients with long-term illnesses. I accepted the challenge in YoVoySalud being driven by the unique idea and the way of possible improvement in people's life.To fulfill our needs, I designed a robust in-house solution that could be scalable in the future and expandable to multiple languages, regions, and countries. Our goal is to deploy multiple websites in each country to comply with the legal requirements for the service provided and secure independent user-face admin teams & associated NGOs. The Laravel framework was the go-to architecture since it provides a sturdy model-view-control scheme with a bunch of scalable functionalities, including the ability to create APIs, so in the future, the same methods developed for the website can be used to develop a mobile app.This is an on-going project with a released Spanish version in 2018. Thanks to those implementations the web app could process the current information entered in any new article and analyze the content automatically to generate indexes that would be employed when the citizens would use the service searching for any kind of information.I also helped to test products like an electronic hitchhiking app. Show less
