Technical Consultant (Professional Services)
CurrentMy experience in Insight Software has been reflected on two different projects. Both of these projects are two separate accounting applications which are designed for the easy function, either as an on-prem App or as an Add-in, of creating or manipulating reports through a direct connection of their database. Spreadsheet Server has been one of the first projects I've assisted with launching the Professional Services functionality. This role required setting up the functionality of the Add-in to the End-Users which acquired the product. Installation, configuring the product, optimal functionality of the product and assuring the correct data was flowing through were the main key responsibilities in this role.Besides the above we were creating the script's in the background ourselves, making sure the correct Database tables were connecting to the Excel Add-in and pulling the correct GeneralLedger entries.Me and my Team were working on multiple ERP's, as the modification and creation of the Script, which was enabling the functionality of the application, was managed from our side, this allowed a number of ERP's to be functional with our product. Some of the main ERP's we worked with were: Oracle Netsuite, Oracle EBS, SAP, JDE, Deltek, Sage, Epicor, MRI, Viewpoint, Oracle Cloud and many more.Besides the direct involvement of assisting with the creation and implementation of the Professional Services role I was also actively involved in providing training and assistance to our new hires, as well as implementing new solutions to any new and existing ERP our company contracted with. Our Monitoring was done via DataDog, with our complete involvement when troubleshooting any new issues discovered by the client. Jira and Confluence were a major factor of our daily tasks, working tightly with the Development team on creating a bug fix or enhancement plan for our clients.
