I joined MHE as a member of the Cloud Operations team. Our SRE team was in charge of managing and implementing the services and technologies that other SRE and developer teams will use in their day-to-day work, such as CI/CD, monitoring, Cloud infrastructure, and other tools. I became an SME in new services I had implemented from scratch and took upon other services we had in place but the teams supporting them had to transition those to us. • Created and managed hundreds of AWS accounts using Control Tower and AWS Organizations. • Troubleshooting AWS issues to mitigate incidents in our applications. • Implement and manage AWS Firewall Manager and create Shield advance shared terraform modules for our SRE teams • Implement and manage EC2 Image builder pipelines and terraform modules for our custom AMIs (migrate them from packer to AWS). Troubleshoot CVEs every month. • Manage EKS Blueprints share modules and support our team's EKS clusters. Manage EKS upgrades. • Support our cloud GitHub Enterprise implementation. • Implement and support GitHub Actions runners in our own EKS cluster. • Create GHA workflows for different applications and IaC pipelines. • Create CircleCI pipelines for different application builds and deployments. • Implement and Support CircleCI in our own Kubernetes cluster. • Configure Newrelic integrations and implement new relic minions and SJM. Configure Synthetic monitors and alert policies. I was a member of the Network Operation Center for Axos Bank, I joined this project 6 months after its beginning. As a memberof this team, I provided Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for all the Bank’s applications, handling issues as they arose, coordinating withall other IT OPS teams in the company, and sending the proper notifications to the business whenever there were servicesaffected. I documented a lot of processes that were handled by the team because we were 4 different shifts that all needed tobe in sync with the new tasks assigned to the NOC. The shifts were constituted by pairs of Engineers. I used to be the oneavailable to cover my teammates on their vacations or sick leaves. Whenever I was in touch with new technologies to me,I studied to be able to apply that knowledge in my work and be more useful to the team. • Monitoring applications using Dynatrace and SolarWinds. • Documenting new processes for the team. • Joining training sessions for new applications and technologies handed to the team. • Monitoring Windows Patching tasks in LANDESK. • Contacting the proper teams whenever an issue arises and coordinating their efforts to solve it. • Sending IT Notifications to the appropriate Distribution Lists through ServiceNow. • Providing IT Support to the developers in the Axos Project for Unosquare. • Training new team members. • Managing Active Directory. • Handling all support requests with the vendors whenever there were issues with them.

The network operation center is a centralized location where IT technicians directly support the efforts of remote monitoring and management of applications, network infrastructure, services, and third parties. These technical teams keep a watchful eye over the endpoints that they monitor and manage, independently resolving issues are they arise and taking preventative steps to ensure many issues do not occur. When any action or intervention is required, NOC can start to troubleshoot, applying fixes when possible and if it’s required, to create tickets that identify and categorize the issue based on severity, alert type and other criteria. The technical teams and NOC work together to resolve the problem and identify the root cause to prevent future issues.
