I have worked for international organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme and the World Water Assessment Programme and UNICEF. In my last job for the Southern Highlands Participatory Organization (SHIPO) in Tanzania, I was part of the management team and I coordinated an education project with 20 primary schools, supervising a team of 8 people. I possess excellent analytic, organisational and team management skills and I am also a strong communicator, competent at gathering and analysing data, reporting and building good rapport with partners and clients. During my 4 years in Tanzania I managed to raise 300.000 USD for my organization. I also coordinated the Mawengi, Mlangali and Milo Integrated Education (MAMMIE) Project, which is aimed at improving the quality of education in 20 rural primary schools in the south of Tanzania. Some of my tasks and responsibilities are:- Project planning and supervision of activities implemented on the field. - Budget Management- Multicultural Team Management.- Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting- Networking with Partners and Stakeholders.- Project Proposal Writting and Fundraisng- Selection and recruitment of staff members.Some of my achievements in this position were:- The project was successfully completed within given time frame and budget- Main project objectives were achieved according to verifiable indicators.- I planned and budgeted am extension (second phase) of the project that was later granted by the donor.- I fundraised as self-contribution of 70.000 € for the first phase project and another 20,000 € for the second phase- An online based monitoring, evaluation and reporting system was created from scratch for the project- 50 latrines, 10 classrooms and 11 dining halls were constructed in collaboration with local communities and sponsored by different donors- 1,186 pieces of furniture and 4,500 books were procured to the schools- A total of 11 different training workshops for teachers, pupils and parent of all 20 schools were implemented. -A series of events, a radio awareness raising campaign and a musical video on different topics like nutrition or the girls’ rights to education were produced.- Memorandums of understanding and contracts with Tanzanian Authorities and civil partners were signed in order to implement the project.

The objective is to promote the use of affordable technologies based in locally available the materials that are easy to repair (SMART technologies).Our approach is to combine the promotion of these technologies (especially in the context of self-supply) with the capacity building of the small private business and the creation of local jobs in the water sector as strategy to improve the availability and sustainability of water and sanitation services in Tanzania.Some of my achievements in this position were:- Successfully completing the yearly program and ensuring the extension of the partnership with the main funding donor for next year.-Raising 211.000 USD for the construction of 65 wells for irrigation and the training of 26 manual drilling teams in 13 regions in Tanzania; - Raising extra funds for international trainings on manual drilling and pump production in Sierra Leone and Mozambique; -The experience of the SMART centre was used as an example in the briefing paper “Innovative mechanisms for improving self-supply services” that was presented in the 38th WEDC International Conference, at Loughborough University in 2015
