Editorial Director, ActivoteMorris Communications Apr 2007 - Dec 2008• Oversaw the design and construction of one of our company’s most ambitious undertakings – a national political web site to inform the public on the issues and the positions of those running for president. I handled all editorial content on the site, http://www.activote.com, and worked with the editors of our newspapers on their local ActiVote mirror sites, which focused on their respective state and local candidates. Besides handling the editorial content, I also worked with our corporate marketing and advertising staff to sell sponsorships on the various web sites. A key purpose of ActiVote was to encourage residents to get involved in the political process through marketing and promotion of the sites. -
