My role entails supporting the remote engineers with any queries relating to cash or account work for a range of different clients. My main responsibility is the closure of completed jobs (cost accounting, inputting relevant information) along with liaising with customers to ensure there are no issues with work to be undertaken, invoicing and submitting succinct descriptions of works completed.

My last job was at Wythenshawe Post Office in Manchester working as a Counter Clerk alongside the rest of the team. The Post Office in this particular area is of great importance as many of the local residents rely on it to pay utility bills, rental payments, tax and many other things. Being a large Post Office, we naturally attracted a range of people from Wythenshawe and neighbouring areas, as me and my colleagues had the ability to help people with a huge range of tasks that many people won't be aware the post office can do. For example, doing passport and driving licence applications, international driving permits etc were all part of the everyday work. It's a fast-paced working environment however I found it an extremely rewarding job as it was satisfying to be able to help people with their every need. I was trained in a face-to-face customer environment and grasped the job very quickly, being youthful and having good capability for information retention, and soon became able to help my colleagues if they were unsure on any task or aspect of what they were doing.

We travel around Greater Manchester to a range of sporting events in order to take and sell photos at the event. We take incredible action shots and other types of photos that properly capture the event which are then given to our team behind the desk. It is then their job to get the photos printed out ready for previews from parents/carers, friends and others. The photos are then put in a format that suits the customer's desires and finally printed out, framed and packaged in a very efficient manner for the customer to take home.
