I am a Software Development Project Manager in the Power Delivery & Utilization Sector at EPRI where my current activities focus on software development, design, and implementation.I joined EPRI in December of 2008 as an entry level Software Developer Engineer. Prior to joining EPRI, I was a thirteen-year full-time employee of Enertech Consultants where my duties in software development ranged from concept to delivery. Other duties included applied research, scientific consulting, and the development of hardware and software to evaluate power frequency electric and magnetic fields (EMF). Many of my activities involved working closely as a consultant on software development and research projects with EPRI personnel and their members.I have over eighteen years of software development experience in using languages such as C, C++, and the Microsoft .NET Framework. I am recognized by Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCPS), a Microsoft Specialist (MS) in C# Programming, and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in the .NET Framework and Win-Forms Application Development. I also has experience in object oriented design, prototyping, proof of concept, and implementation.In early 2014 I joined the Apple Software Development program where it is my desire to build rich applications for Apple’s iOS Frameworks targeted to iPhone, iPad, and OSX application development.Outside of of my software development career, I have over 32 years of working as a goldsmith and bench jeweler. I hold certificates from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in diamonds, diamond grading, and jewelry repair and design.
